Firstly i imported all my scenes into final cut, after doing this i had to take screenshots for proof that i imported the images. Then i put then into three different bins, 1(Train station) 2(street) 3(home) this would make it easier for me to make changes and to access them when i am editing. After putting each shot into their allocated location i then, said what type of shot it was, if it was a close up or long shot etc, furthermore i labeled them Good or bad, so that i know what scenes i will use when it comes to editing. From the images above we can see that i have put each shot to their allocated position as a professional editor would do. Because i have named the shots Good or bad and what type of shot it was, i was then able to selected a establishing shot and a finishing shot, because only good scenes will enhance the editing with good continuity.
As a professional editor i used an EDL because using an EDL is easier to send from my Photobox to the person that will enhance my video. Making the EDL was simple, what i had to do was clicking on file and then export XML after doing this i saved the XML file on the desktop, then i dragged it into excel so that the file will open up as codes, and when the person gets it they can just double click on it and it will open up in final cut
