For many years 50 cent has portrayed to his fans and to the world for being a ‘’ Rich rapper’’. We can see this through some of his music videos for example in one of his songs ‘’ Window shopper’’ it’s all about buying expensive things inside the store and driving the fastest cars and expensive cars. This is what he makes the audience think his lifestyle is like when in actual fact his life style is not exactly like that, there is something called Hyper reality, this means something which gives an false image or something that is over exaggerated. We know that he does not even know the cars he drives they are either hired or borrowed, but let’s not get it wrong, hiring a car like that would still be into the 100 thousands. Really and truly 50cent has been portraying a false image of himself has he owes Millions in debt to the government. He is in debt by more than 28million Dollars. Someone who creates a false image of themselves in Music videos, more or less wants to keep you occupied with the music videos that you do not even notice what happens in reality. The fact that he was once in a record  label means he was earning loads of money, and this allowed him to tour around the world and do shows, and even earn more money, but yet somehow he is still able to be in dept.

When looking at 50cent we can see that he portrays him self to be living the lifestyle and boasting 

about the amount of money which he has, and the ability. in the picture below it shows the amount of money needed to buy a pair of trainers, and in the back ground we can see him giving off a cheeky smerk, almost as if to say ''thats nothing to me''

Budget and production 

This music video fits into the 500K + CATEGORY, we can see this because firstly the amount the used for the car only was over 1 million, and then we have the editing and the crew, which would cost additional amount.

Audience

50cent as a Artist targets, a wild range of people. His music video is basically to show that nothing is too expensive this is giving hope to the fans. Audience are drawn to him because of the cars her drivers and the jewellery he wears, makes them wonna be like him.

Monetisation

when it comes to making money, he would get paid for allowing an advert to flow before the music video starts, also he gets paid through the amount of views he gets. He would have been paid according to the method of every 1000 views he gets, he gets paid 2 dollars.
