Cutting to the Beat
One significant technique which can be applied when editing a music video is cutting to the beat, this simply means when the music video cuts from one beat to another but obviously still moving the image that is being shown on screen. I would say cutting to the beat would keep the audience intrigued and interested, and also cutting to the beat could create a type of atmosphere depending on the music video and the genre.
Before starting to do any slicing to the beat, you should put in markers. You do this on everybody of the beats which there could be a conceivable cut which guarantees you know the correct setting of the cuts. This guarantees they will be more precise and makes the whole procedure somewhat less
demanding.

To start off with how to beat edit, we need to start off from scratch. So I downloaded the track from YouTube, but you could also use any other platform as long as you can convert the music video into an mp3 or what not. Then I dragged the track into final cut pro, I only listened to a few seconds of the track to get a good feel for what I was dealing with, once I had done that I then went on to the next step. In terms of marking where I wanted the beat to cut I pressed the ‘’m’’ key on final cut, this leaves a mark on the beat of every drop which makes it easier to mix things around. Then I went onto the blade tool and then cut the track in each of the sections which had been marked, this then allowed me to place effects on specific images on the track. Making cuts within one clip was an easier method for me because in that one clip it would always cut back to a significant shot when the beat drops.

In my summer music video, cutting to the beat was very good at some stages in terms of matching the shots with the beat to create some sort of mood and atmosphere, but then as the music video plays on there is no consistensy of the music cutting to the beat, it cuts but not to a beat It just cuts to the next shot, where as in this previous work I did, majority of the shots are actually following the beat which makes it sync nicely and gives it a nice flow.

On the other hand, another significant  strategy use in altering is synchronizing this is the point at which you sync all your footage for a music into final cut pro, include the track into polished product then sync it to the melody ensuring that the footage runs with the tune.

Lip syncing
when lip-syncing you have to make sure it goes with the exclusive footage otherwise it would not look neat and polished. The reason why we lip sync is to establish the artist and to give the artist an image, and also to give the audience a performance type feel of how it would actually feel it it was to be in a concert of some sort. The problem we had when doing our music video during summer was that in terms of lip syncing, we did get some parts neatly but most of it just looked rough and scruffy, i am assuming because we did not match the proper shot to the clip which might have caused a slight delay, hence why some of the lyrics where delivered slightly late.

There is no explanation of Lip Synching for M
There is no video of your evidence
